## Rebuilding Hope:🇯🇲
Support Hastings Primary School 🇯🇲
The community of Trelawny, Jamaica, is still working hard to recover after the devastation caused by **Hurricane Melissa**.
Among those hardest hit is **Hastings Primary School**, where the damage has gone far beyond just bricks and mortar—it has disrupted the daily lives and education of our children.
Currently, the school is facing critical needs:
* **Infrastructure:**
Major structural damage and destroyed perimeter fencing. Hastings school lost 3 of 4 buildings, bathroom building and recreational area.
* **Essential Resources:**
Loss of water tanks and classroom furniture and all school materials while serving as a community shelter during the devastating huracain category 5.
* **Learning Environment:**
A desperate need for backpaks, essential school materials and books to get students back into a stable routine.
**K&B’s Krayons and Beyond Inc.**
Is stepping up to lead the restoration of Hastings Primary, but we cannot do it alone.
As a group, we have the heart and the professional network to make a difference, but we need the financial support of our **near community** to turn these plans into reality.
### You Can Help!
Your donations will go directly toward:
1. **Repairing structural damage** to ensure a safe learning space.
2. **Replacing lost equipment** like desks, chairs, activity books and more.
3. **Restoring basic utilities** so the school can function fully again.
Together, we can ensure that the students of Hastings Primary don’t just return to school, but return to a facility that is stronger and more resilient than before.
**Join our initiative today.**
Every contribution brings us one step closer to putting a roof back over these students’ heads.
Jamaica Mission Trip from March 8th through March 15th, 2026
We have another mission trip to Jamaica again in August 2026

The Founder, Brandi and a Director, DeYandre will be visiting our friends at Hastings Primary and Infant School located in Trelawny. This is our initial trip to visit the school to assess the devastation following Hurricane Melissa.

In the past, we were able to ship 16 pairs of shoes to Jamaica shortly after they suffered a hurricane that had damaging effects on homes and families.

Thank you all for  your help, donations and support!

Please consider donating at: https://kandbs.org/donate/.

Your donations will determine how much we are able to help families.

We had a long productive day today on March 12, 2026.We went to Kingston to release our shipment and to drop off items to the Hastings Infant and Primary school. Tomorrow we will be able to meet some of the children and staff. Learn about how life is after Hurricane Melissa. One complete building on the site has been completely destroyed. Just a flat slab remains once where children used to learn. Please consider donating items, your time and/or money to help them rebuild the school, community and their lives.

Dominican Republic

Every year we have been able to make at least 2 shipments of clothing, shoes, school supplies, household items, jewelry and accessories, hygiene items and many other various items: We have been able to ship anywhere from 50-125 boxes every year. Brandi Cespedes, Ariel Cespedes Pineda and DeYandre (Dee) Wilson will travel there to help distribute the items at the Escuela Las Clavellinas school. Occasionally, volunteer, MaryEllen Woodman will travel to help us distribute goods.

We held another charity event in DR on December 3, 2023 in Los Platanitos Higuey sector of the Funserhum Foundation premises. We will be distributing over 200 holiday packages for 21 men, 60 women and 202 children. Thanks to all who have donated and supported our missions!!

We can only hope that these missions have made a positive impact on children and families.

A great big thank you to the school staff in assisting us to distribute items.

We are planning to do more shipments in the future. Brandi’s husband, Ariel is originally from the Dominican Republic, therefore our organization continues to help families and children there, since it’s his local community.

God Bless and thank you all so very much for making this happen. A huge thank you to all the people who donated and helped us make this mission possible.

Everyone’s support has definitely made an impact. We greatly appreciate your help and support!!

Haiti

We made a huge shipment of over 100 pounds of clothing to Haiti after they suffered a huge hurricane that devasted the territory . A big special thank you to all and especially to Moise for making this happen.
