Medical Mission

 
K&B’s Krayons & Beyond, Inc is planning on doing a Medical Mission in 2025 or 2026 to help people receive basic medical care. This medical care will include examinations, vaccines, and other minor medical emergencies such as sutures etc. for people who do not have health insurance. These people would not be able to get the necessary care. We are here to offer help!!
 
Our goal is $25,000usd to complete this mission. We are accepting monetary donations and medical supply items. We also are in need of Medical Staff volunteers.

Every year we have been able to make at least 2 shipments of clothing, shoes, school supplies, household items, jewelry and accessories, hygiene items and many other various items: We have been able to ship anywhere from 50-125 boxes every year. Brandi Cespedes, Ariel Cespedes Pineda and DeYandre (Dee) Wilson will travel there to help distribute the items at the Escuela Las Clavellinas school. Occasionally, volunteer, MaryEllen Woodman will travel to help us distribute goods.

We held another charity event in DR on December 3, 2023 in Los Platanitos Higuey sector of the Funserhum Foundation premises. We will be distributing over 200 holiday packages for 21 men, 60 women and 202 children. Thanks to all who have donated and supported our missions!!

We can only hope that these missions have made a positive impact on children and families.  

A great big thank you to the school staff in assisting us to distribute items.

We are planning to do more shipments in the future. Brandi’s husband, Ariel is originally from the Dominican Republic, therefore our organization continues to help families and children there, since it’s his local community.

Jamaica

We were able to ship 16 pairs of shoes to Jamaica shortly after they suffered a hurricane that had damaging effects on homes and families. Thank you all for your help, donations and support!

If we are able to receive donations and funding, we are hoping to complete another mission in 2025 or 2026. 

Haiti

We made a huge shipment of over 100 pounds of clothing to Haiti after they suffered a huge hurricane that devasted the territory . A big special thank you to all and especially to Moise for making this happen.
